Private and Group Coaching for Actors

Self Confidence

Your confidence affects everything you do as an actor – from prepping for auditions, to how you interact with casting directors and stage partners, and ultimately how to show up for your roles. This is compounded by an industry that will scrutinize every little thing about your – from your clothes to your eye color and how you look on camera. We’ll build up your self-confidence and work on your relationship with your body so you’re in a healthy mental state to brush off criticism and stay present in the script and focused on your goals.

Anxiety & Stress

When you step on a stage, do the nerves hit you hard? Nerves and anxiety can be good things: they mean you care. Thanks, butterflies! But how do you harness that stress into something you can use? How do you balance school, theater, memorizing lines, family, friends, and self-care? We’ll work together to find a healthy balance so you can manage stress in a sustainable way.

Acceptance & Support

Acceptance is vital – yet sometimes it can be hard to find among our own families and communities. If you feel out of place or unsure of yourself, you’re in the right industry. The theater is a big, wonderful world of love, light, and acceptance. If you don’t have your family’s support or if you just don’t feel like you’ve found your “tribe,” we’ll work together to overcome that loss and build a new community.

Why I created this program

As a former actor myself, and having coached and worked with countless traveling Broadway performers, I understand the stress and anxiety that come with this career. And that stress is only compounded when you’re getting into acting for the first time. I’ve worked extensively with people who already are where you ultimately want to be, and I know the skills and mindset you’ll need to be successful in the future. I’m partnering with Broadway Collective to help you hone your craft and find success as an actor.

We’ll work together in a group setting or one-on-one to discuss issues like body image, self-confidence, anxiety, perfectionism, acceptance, support, and any other obstacles you feel are standing in the way of success.

These coaching sessions are fully customized to you, so we’ll only discuss the topics that affect you personally.

One-on-one sessions: $200 each (duration customized to each client)

Group sessions: $800 for a series of 1-hour group sessions (you must start with the group and commit to all 8 sessions)

How we’ll work together

For the past 20 years, I’ve helped women and men all over the world feel empowered, connected, and in control of their relationships and sexual lives. My work has been featured in Oprah, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Women’s Health and Shape.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed professional counselor, and I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Education. I work with men, women, and those who don’t identify as either, as well as people of all ages and stages of life. This is the work I love to do.

After receiving my Ph.D. in Counseling Education from William & Mary College, I worked as a Gender Studies professor and a clinical director of a university’s counseling center. I’ve even run a halfway house for women in addiction recovery. I’ve worked with male college athletes around the topics of consent, sexual agency, and sexual violence prevention.

Today, I have a thriving practice counseling coach, couple, and individuals to build positive relationships with themselves and others, primarily in the areas of sex and relationships. I also work extensively with traveling Broadway performers helping them with topics like body image, confidence, building healthy relationships, anxiety, and more. infertility, body image, and Sex Ed for adults. Her practice is on-line using video software which allows her to treat clients around the world.

I’m a regular contributor to “O Magazine,” Women’s Health and SheKnows. I’ve been featured on the Discovery Channel and am a highly sought after leader at self-help, self-development and spiritual retreats.
